Low-fat Pizza


Ingredients:-

For Crust:-
1 packet - dry yeast
1 cup - warm water
1 tbsp - sugar
2 1/2 cup - flour
1 tsp - salt

For Sauce:-
26 oz - spaghetti sauce
6 oz - tomato paste
1/2 lb - ground turkey, cooked and drained
1/2 tsp - garlic powder
1/2 tsp - dried basil
1/4 tsp - dried oregano
1/2 tsp - dried thyme

For Toppings:-
8 oz - mushroom stems and pieces
1/4 cup - onion, chopped
1/4 cup - green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 cup - mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup - parmesan cheese

Method:-
For Crust:-
Proof yeast in 1/4 cup warm water, add sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
Add remaining water, flour, and salt and beat until dough is smooth.
Dough will be sticky.
Place dough in a lightly greased bowl.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Dough will be very elastic.
Roll out into circle.
Place pizza dough on greased cookie sheet.
Spoon sauce on top.
Cover with toppings.
Bake at 450F degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
